Gan Academy Yeshiva gathered for a special Hakhel avos u’bonim together with Nosson’s Shul on Motzei Shabbos in honor of Yud Tes Kislev.
On Motzei Shabbos, Gan Academy Yeshiva boys grades 1 through 5 were joined by their fathers for a special Avos U’banim evening of learning in honor of Yud Tes Kislev. The event was hosted at Nosson’s Shul – Binyan R’ Zushe Wilhelm and joined by Nosson’s Shul members in the spirit of Hakhel.
The boys excitedly found a seat next to their classmates and sat down to learn a sichah with their fathers. After learning, all attendees danced joyously to Padah B’Shalom- the talmidim had been practicing all week and sang the niggun heartily.
Director Rabbi Moshe Lieblich spoke about the meaning of Chassidus and how it applies to our daily life as Chabad Chassidim.
“It was so impressive to see how much knowledge the boys had,” remarked one of the fathers.
After that, they had the pleasure of hearing a story from Rabbi Yisroel Noach Blank, veteran 1st-grade Rebbi. The audience loved it!
The evening ended with a melaveh malka and one lucky boy won a gift certificate to Sweet Expressions. This beautiful gathering was led by Principal Rabbi Zev Posner and arranged by Mrs. Musia Wilhelm, Executive Administrator of Gan Academy Yeshiva.
