A frum family in Texas had their 3 young children wrongfully removed from their home and placed in foster care with a non-Jewish family. A group of Chabad Rabbonim are trying to reunite the kids with their family.
Six security guards surround the exhausted parents and force them to leave the hospital. Their children are left behind…
How could this be happening?! Their toddler and babies are seized by strangers!!! Will their sick baby survive the day?!
Child Protective Services wrongfully removed three very young children from their parents after suspicions of abuse and placed them in foster care. Less than 24 hours later it became clear that the “broken bones” were a mistake by a resident.
Multiple medical experts who reviewed the case were shocked to see that there was no indication of abuse, and the original diagnosis was in error. The brain bleed was a result of a preexisting, benign condition.
Despite a CPS-approved home study for temporary placement of the children at friends of the family, 3 months have passed and the children are still in foster care.
The children are suffering mentally, emotionally, and physically.
To make matters worse, these are Jewish children and 2 of them are still in non-Jewish homes where their religious needs are not being met!
Unfortunately, CPS keeps stalling, and the hearing keeps getting delayed.
Attorneys and experts in the field describe the treatment of this family as egregious and unprecedented.
There is no good reason why the children aren’t in the CPS-approved home of the family friend in the meantime. It’s outrageous that these children are being treated so terribly.
Your gift will fight back for these children and support the family through this time.
Your gift will pay for the enormous legal fees, counseling, and emotional support for the family.
Please give generously to help bring the kids home and reunite the family.
