From the Archives: ULY 5724

L-R: Rav Mordechai Mentlik, Rav Chaim Meir Bukiet, Unknown Bochur, Rav Ushpal.

From the archives of Rav Yitzchok DovBer Ushpal, a”h, we bring you these two photos, featuring a bochur [ Now identified as Sholom Jacobson] speaking at an event in the Lubavitcher Yeshiva on “Bedford & Dean” on 11 Tammuz, 5724/1964.

On that year, Yud Beis Tammuz was on Sunday, June 21st, so it presumed that yeshiva was still in session. It may have also been a Melava Malka, for the end of the school year, or a pre-Yud Beis Tammuz gathering.

  1. When did the Rebbe Shturem about the Menorah branches not being round? I guess if it was before 5724 then they wouldn’t have it round by their Aron Kodesh.
