Anash and bochurim gathered in 770 Sunday night for a farbrengen in honor of the auspicious day of Yud Beis Tammuz, the birthday and chag hageulah of the Frierdiker Rebbe.
Rabbi Nachman Schapiro, mashpia in Oholei Torah, taught the Frierdiker Rebbe’s maamer ‘Asarah Sheyoshvim’ delivered on the first Yud Bais Tammuz 5688. Reb Itche Mishulovin recounted stories of chassidim’s messiras nefesh in the former USSR.
The farbrengen was also addressed by Harav Yosef Yeshaya Braun, member of Crown Heights Beis Din, Rabbi Moshe Chaim Levin, shliach in Kensington, NY, Rabbi Yisroel Hershkovitz, shliach in Ofakim and Rabbi Boruch Wilhelm, shliach in Nahariya. The MC was Rabbi Mendel Yusewitz, and the farbrengen was organized by Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Kratz.
The farbrengen was followed by joyous dancing accompanied by a musical band.
