French City Of S. Maur Gets its First Mikva

Shluchim to the city of S. Maur France, Rabbi Hershy and Chami Drookman, dedicated a brand new Mikva in a grand ceremony attended by Head Shliach Rabbi Mendel Azimov.

Shluchim to the city of S. Maur France, Rabbi Hershy and Chami Drookman, dedicated a brand new Mikva in a grand ceremony attended by Head Shliach Rabbi Mendel Azimov and other rabbis and dignitaries.

A sizeable crowd attended the opening ceremony many of whom saw a mikva for the first time. Two Jewish deputy mayors were invited to cut the ribbon and share greetings on behalf of the municipality.

In his speech, Rabbi Drookman thanked all the donors who made building the mikva possible, and in particular, the Maromim Foundation by the Rabbinical Center of Europe, as well as a special thanks to Vice-Chairman of Merkos Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky.
