Kamin Urgent Care Center in Crown Heights is offering free medical care for students who live out of town and are studying or dorming in Crown Heights for the year.
Message from Kamin Urgent Care in Crown Heights
Do you live out of town and have a child learning /dorming in a local school?
If the answer is yes, we have a special offer for you.
We will allow you to pre-register your child at the urgent care, thereby ensuring seamless care whenever needed. No need to dig up insurance cards at the last minute or panicking about where to turn for help etc.
We are happy to take care of all of your children’s urgent care needs throughout the school year, even if they have an insurance which we usually don’t accept (for example out of state medicaid). We will not charge you anything out of pocket, with the exceptions of vaccinations or laboratory bills.
We are offering this as a help to families, since we see this need every year and especially this year we don’t want students who are sick not getting appropriate medical care.
If you are interested in signing your child up please email [email protected] with the subject line ‘out of town’.
If your child is already registered at Crown Heights Urgent Care you should still email us to place them in this special program.
For students arriving from overseas we urge you to sign them up for a reputable travel /student medical insurance plan.
Deadline to complete the registration process is this Sunday December 5th. You will be notified once your child is properly registered.
Thank You
Yosef Hershkop,
Manager Crown Heights Urgent Care
