In a heartfelt gesture of unity and support, Rabbis Benzion Korf, director of Friends of Lubavitch of Florida, and Sholom Kleinman of Chabad of Miami Gardens, presented a beautiful menorah to the honorable Congresswoman Fredericka Wilson on the occasion of her eighty-first birthday.

“We wish Congresswoman Wilson mazel tov on her birthday,” said Rabbi Korf, “and extend our heartfelt gratitude for her resolute and unwavering support for the nation of Israel, especially now, during these challenging times. We appreciate her steadfast dedication to promoting the friendship and alliance between the United States and Israel.”

In response, Congresswoman Wilson emphasized the importance of standing by friends and allies in their times of need. “If our ally, Israel, is not strong, then America will not be strong,” she said. “We must ensure that Israel remains steadfast in its strength.”

Rabbi Korf says, “The US and Israel have a strong and enduring bond underpinned by shared values. Continued commitment to Israel’s wellbeing will benefit both nations.” He points to the menorah as a symbol of the congresswoman’s guiding light for her constituency. “May Congresswoman Wilson continue to shine as bright as the light of this menorah.”
