At a gathering of Israeli C-Teen Shluchim, Rabbi Moshe Shilat announced that five new shluchim will be appointed to C-Teen positions in major cities in Eretz Yisroel.
The new shluchim, which Rabbi Shilat described as “a gift to the Rebbe as we enter the new year”, were announced at the chanukas habayis of a Chabad youth center in the city of Cholon, built by shliach Rabbi Mendy Malka.
The five couples will join the many couples across Eretz Yisroel who work with teenagers under C-Teen’s Israeli version “Chabad Lanoar.”
The shluchim are Rabbi Mendy and Racheli Elmalech, who will be shluchim in Rishon Letzion, Rabbi Mendy and Sari Lebel, shluchim to Yerushalayim, Rabbi Yechiel and Chani Marzel, who will open C-Teen Tel Aviv, Rabbi Nissim Raziel and Meital Croitoru, shluchim to Beer Sheva, and Rabbi Yisroel and Shanei Shachar – Zichron Yaacov
