First Siyum Harambam of the Year Kicks Off in Melbourne

Tuesday morning in Melbourne saw Rabbi Mordechai Szmerling start the first of many Siyum Harambam’s that will be celebrated worldwide.

The shul in Melbourne, Australia made the first of this year’s Siyum Harambam’s. Rabbi Mordechai Szmerling read out the final words in a resolute and clear voice to all those assembled, thus starting off the cascade of siyumim that will be made around the globe, country by country, and city by city.

Melbourne is one of first the cities in the world to see sunrise every day and also has a minyan of Yidden in it, thereby enabling them to have this iconic Siyum Harambam.
