Firefighters Extinguish Rooftop Fire on Eastern Parkway

A fire broke out Wednesday evening on the rooftop of the apartment building neighboring the Jewish Children’s Museum. Firefighters extinguished the flames with no injures reported.

A fire broke out Wednesday evening on the rooftop of an apartment building neighboring the Jewish Children’s Museum.

Residents first noticed billowing smoke coming from the roof of 800 Eastern Parkway shortly after 8:00 pm.

Multiple fire trucks and dozens of firefighters arrived at the scene and managed to quickly bring the fire under control. There were no injuries reported.
