Fire Extinguished on Roof of Crown Heights Apartment Building

A fire broke out on the roof of an apartment building on Empire between Kingston and Brooklyn. It has been brought under control, with no injuries reported.

Sunday evening, Crown Heights residents were alarmed to see heavy black smoke pouring from the rooftop of an apartment building on Empire between Kingston and Brooklyn.

Multiple firetrucks and dozens of firefighters arrived at the scene and boruch Hashem managed to quickly bring the fire under control. There were no injuries reported.

According to some reports, the fire was caused by an electrical malfunction of a cell tower on the roof of the building.
