Final Results of Vaad Hakohol Elections

After the community showed up throughout the day to vote, the election committee counted the votes. Here are the new members of the Crown Heights Vaad Hakohol.

After the community showed up throughout the day to vote, the election committee counted the votes. Here are the new members of the Crown Heights Vaad Hakohol.

In total, 1811 members of the community voted in the elections.

The breakdown of votes was:
Zalman Friedman 86%
Yaakov Goldstein 32%
Dovid Halon 80%
Berel Hildesheim 93%
Yitzi Kaman 55%
Meir New 91%
Shmuel Rosenstein 86%
Pinchos Woolstone 41%

The candidates with over 51 percent of the vote are the five candidates who ran on a slate, Berel Hildesheim, Meir New, Zalman Friedman, Shmuel Rosenstein, Dovid Halon, and Yitzi Kamman.

  1. i think that the vaad hakohol would do well working on bringing unity to the community.

    we are a single movement, with many different opinions. whats important is that we learn to accept one another, even if he doesnt have the same views.

    i think that if we can cultivate this virtue, then we will be able to enjoy prosperity which will come from boundless blessing.
