Chagai was accompanied by shluchim to Rishon Lezion Rabbi Chaim Rivkin and Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Lepkivker at the farbrengen marking the yahrzeit of the Frierdiker Rebbe and the Rebbe day assumed the leadership of Lubavitch one year later.

Invoking the power of a chassidishe farbrengen, Chagai asked all the assembled to recite l’chaim and pray for Matan’s safe return home from captivity.
