Evitar Ohayon, a graduate of Chabad yeshivos who served as an ambulance driver in the IDF, was killed in the Simchas Torah massacre.
Evitar lived in Yerushalayim and studied at the Chabad school in Gilo neighborhood in the south of the city. He later studied at Yeshivas Chanoch Lanaar in Tzfas, headed by Rabbi Eliezer Wilschansky and Rabbi Schneur Lipsker.
After joining the IDF, Evitar served as an ambulance driver in the 51st Battalion of the Golani Brigade, rising to the rank of sergeant.
He was among the over 1,000 victims of the horrific attack by Hamas terrorists ym”s on Simchas Torah.
