Thousands of students from Oholei Torah’s Pre1A through 7th grade classes gathered for a mammoth Hakhel gathering on Monday, Chamisha Asar B’shevat.
Every single student from every class in the Eastern Parkway campus joined in the Hakhel, makin for a beautiful scene of thousands of Yiddishe children gathered in unity.
The program included Torah – the 12 pesukim, tefilah and tzedaka, niggunim accompanied by Yossi Cohen and the Kapele Choir, and a video of the Rebbe.
A juggling show was then enjoyed by the children, followed by raffles for seforim and other prizes.
The Hakhel gathering was dedicated in memory of R’ Yossel Rosenfeld, long time executive director of Oholei Torah who dedicated over 40 years to growing the school.
