At the closing of the Shiva for Bogota Shlucha Mrs. Shevy Piekarski A”H, yeshivas bais Menachem Wilkes-Barre Mesivta and Zal joined together with yeshivas Tomchei Temimim of the Poconos for a final end of year Seder sichos.
At the closing of the Shiva for Bogota Shlucha Mrs. Shevy Piekarski A”H, yeshivas bais Menachem Wilkes-Barre Mesivta and Zal joined together with yeshivas Tomchei Temimim of the Poconos for a grand end of the year Seder sichos.
The program was an outstanding success with over 80 bochurim joining the learning. Bochurim from both yeshivas paired up and learned with one another for over an hour. Participants were treated to lots of farbaisen and many raffles.
“This Achdus was an amazing way to end off the year and gave the bochurim a Chayus and a boost to strive through the upcoming summer,” one of the organizers said.
All of this was arranged l’iluy nishmas Elisheva bas Chaim Piekarski, who was a shlucha in Bogota, Colombia, and a dear aunt of one of the bochurim in the Poconos yeshiva.
