Rebbetzin Rochel Pinson, together with her husband Rabbi Nissan Pinson, played a foundational role in building and strengthening Chabad activities and Jewish education across North Africa. They operated a school that educated thousands of Tunisian children over many decades, providing them with a solid Jewish education.
Mrs. Pinson passed away on 17 Shvat 5786 at the ripe old age of 102.
The large and emotional shloshim ceremony took place at the Neuilly shul, with words delivered by many speakers, highlighting the work and dedication of this devoted shlucha.
