R’ Emanuel Meyerson, a longtime Crown Heights resident, passed away on Sunday, 19 Adar. Levaya will pass 770 at 1:15 PM today, Sunday.

R’ Emanuel Meyerson, a longtime Crown Heights resident, passed away on Sunday, 19 Adar, 5783.

Emanuel was born in Iran and became a baal teshuva after leaving the country and emigrating to America.

Acquaintances remember him as a Yid with genuine yiras shomayim and an artist.

In recent years, he was a resident of nursing home in Williamsburg.

The levaya will take place today, Sunday, passing 770 at 1:15 PM.

Kevura will take place at 2:00 PM at the Montefiore cemetery. The address is 121-83 Springfield Blvd 11413.

I believe this was my great uncle Emanuel. Although his parents were Nash Didan Jews from NW Iran, he was actually born in the US 6 days before or after my father Ruben Meyerson, his nephew.
