Elected Officials Silent as NYS Attempts To Demolish Crown Heights Shul
New York State politicians are pushing to demolish the historic Kingsbrook Synagogue — one of the oldest Shuls in Crown Heights — and replace it with yet another homeless shelter. Ahron Gluck is here to stop that.
Crown Heights history is at risk.
New York State politicians are pushing to demolish the historic Kingsbrook Synagogue — one of the oldest Shuls in Crown Heights — and replace it with yet another homeless shelter.
The elected officials are funding ‘One Brooklyn Health’, which oversees Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, and are attempting to tear down our community Shul building.
A Lubavitcher and member of Congregation Chaim Albert – Kingsbrook Synagogue, stated: “If this would be a house of worship for any other religion, the local elected officials would be holding non-stop press conferences, and would fix the situation in under 48 hours. The New York State elected officials hold the power to return the Shul to its congregants, but deliberately refuse to do so.”
Ahron Gluck, a Crown Heights resident, announced last week that he is running for NYS Assembly to stand up for our community.
Gluck released a campaign video on Instagram, which quickly amassed over 10,000 views, vows that if elected, he will erupt the entire New York Democratic establishment and work with Governor Kathy Hochul to preserve our century old Synagogue, rightfully return the Shul to the Crown Heights / East Flatbush Jewish community and designate the Chaim Albert Synagogue building and property as a historic Jewish site.
To vote for Ahron Gluck in the Democratic primary, you must be registered as a Democrat:

This seems really insufferable. This Shul may actually be the second oldest next to 770. Actually it functioned as a Shul before 770 did I believe. Well kiddos what’s next on the hit list I wonder??
Bies David Gershon shul is the oldest shul in crown heights still in operation shabbos and Yom tov
has anyone approached rabbi chazan?
