Dr. Yaakov Friedman, AH

Dr. Yaakov (Jack) Friedman, a dedicated doctor who served the Montreal Chabad community, passed away on Sunday, 8 Elul, 5782.

Dr. Yaakov (Jack) Friedman of Montreal, Canada and more recently of Yerushalayim, passed away on Sunday, 8 Elul, 5782.

Dr. Friedman served for many years as a family physician for the Montreal Jewish community. He was considered by many to be their ‘rofeh yedid’.

He is survived by his wife Neurit Friedman, and his son Aryeh Shlomo Friedman.

He is also survived by his brother Shmuel.

The levaya was held Sunday morning at Har Hamenuchos in Yerushalayim.

    He is my model of how a Jew can be… a heros how he took care of my need and also the need of every one that came to him. So talented, so much wisdom, softness, intellect above many, in medicine he knew more than many specialist in other field! A friend, a very dear one. May Hachem send Mochiah there are less and less Dr like him. He is surely direct to Gan Eden !

    My deepest sympathy to his family. The world lost a big neshama.
