The language of the Rama implies that this is not about a person’s own home, rather something with others involved, in which this talmid chochom has monetary interest
It says “‘דשייך לדידי”, and not “בביתו” etc.
And “שומעין לו” and not “מותר לו לסמוך על עצמו”.
Also, I would say the title is a bit misleading, giving that his own conclusion is a lot more nuanced
