Devorah Leah Fishman, the infant daughter of R’ Menachem Mendel and Chaya Fishman of Bnei Brak, passed away on Monday after she was hospitalized following a tragic accident on Friday.
She was 1 year old.
Devora Leah Fishman lost consciousness on Friday after falling at her home. Emergency services transferred her to the Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, in critical condition.
Asher Shlomovich and paramedics Shmuel Rotenberg and Dudi Glick, who were the first to arrive at the scene, said: “When we arrived at the scene, a one-year-old toddler was brought to us without a pulse or breathing. Together with the paramedics and medics from United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom, we performed advanced resuscitation procedures, including administering life-saving medications. After her pulse was restored, she was transferred to the trauma room at Sheba Medical Center.”
After life-saving treatment restored her consciousness, the doctors worked to stabilize her condition, and the public was requested to daven for her miraculous recovery.
On Sunday, her condition deteriorated again, and on Monday, she tragically passed away.
The funeral took place Monday evening at the cemetery in Elad.
