In a colorful and spirited parade, 15 Mitzvah Tanks rolled through Metropolitan Detroit, Lansing, and Ann Arbor, in honor of the Rebbe’s upcoming birthday. Organized by Chabad Lubavitch of Michigan and led by the bochurim of Mesivta Oholei Yosef Yitzchok Lubavitch, the parade brought a wave of excitement and Jewish pride to the community.

The day began with a 45-minute parade route starting from the Harry and Wanda Zekelman Campus in Oak Park, continuing through Huntington Woods, Royal Oak, and concluding in Birmingham. Besides being a sight to behold, the bochurim engaged with many Yidden throughout.

Boys and Girls divisions of the Cheder eagerly participated in the parade as the parade stopped at each school, allowing the children to watch. The oldest classes were invited to participate, with the boys joining the bochurim on the parade and the girls embarking separately on Mivtzoim.

After the procession, the Mitzvah Tanks dispersed throughout the Detroit area to distribute thousands of Shmurah Matzos and bring the spirit of Pesach to Yidden across Michigan.
