Families in the Detroit area gathered to celebrate Lag Ba’omer with a day of festivities. The event, organized by the students of the Lubavitch Yeshiva, offered a wide range of activities and attractions for children and adults alike.

The day began with the excitement of inflatables and bounce castles, train rides, and more. There was also a delicious BBQ, with snow cones, soda, cotton candy, and popcorn.

The program kicked off with the 12 Pesukim, followed by a heartfelt message from Rabbi Bliech, who spoke about the significance of the holiday and its relevance to our lives today. The kids all received tickets to a grand raffle with a number of prizes. The event culminated with the grand show performance by Wonder Wheels BMX bike show.

In addition to all the fun, there was a booth set up to purchase a letter in the unity Torah. Another booth provided an opportunity to learn about the message of Hakhel in our times.

The organizers of the event would like to express their gratitude to the sponsors who made the day possible.

They also thanked the organizers who were dedicated to making this event possible: Memke Goldshmid, Mendel Gopin, Gedalie Hertz, Yossi Jacobs, Mendel Nemes, Shea Shmotkin, and Sholom Smith.

They also thanked all the bochurim who gave all they could to make it possible.
