Detroit Camp to Offer 8 Full Weeks of Summer

Camp Gan Yisroel Detroit, the flagship Chabad camp located in Kalkaska, MI, announced that for the first time it will be offering 8 full weeks of summer for the camp’s boys divisions.

For 60 years, Camp Gan Yisroel in Lubavitch City, Michigan has been providing boys and girls with a summer experience they will not easily forget. Days and weeks are spent surrounded by good friends and dedicated staff members, inspiring them to grow in their Yiddishkeit and Chassidishkeit.

Traditionally, the camp alternated it’s Lubavitch City camp grounds between one month for the boys camp and one month for girls camp. An additional three weeks of camp was available for boys in a different location.

Now, after many years of requests, camp Gan Yisroel Detroit has announced it will be extending its three week program into a four week program, providing 8 full weeks of summer fun for the camp’s boys division.

the camp recently moved its three week program from Oak Park, Michigan, to beautiful and spacious camp grounds Walkerville, Michigan, enabling them to accommodate many more campers.

Thursday, July 1 (21 Tammuz) – Wednesday, July 28 (19 Av)

Boys Session 2
Wednesday, July 28 (19 Av) – Sunday, August 22 (14 Elul)

Girls Camp / Teen Camp
Thursday, July 1 (21 Tammuz) – Tuesday, July 27 (18 Av)
