The United Arab Emirates government released the names of three suspected murderers of UAE shliach Rabbi Tzvi Kogan. The suspects are expected to receive the death penalty, in accordance with the region’s laws.

The UAE has publicized the identities of the three suspects in the murder of Rabbi Tzvi Kogan HYD.
The suspects are Olimbay Tohirovich (28), Mahmoud Jon Abd al-Rahim (28), and Azizet Kamalovich (33), all Uzbek nationals.
According to reports, the murderers of Rabbi Kogan were not apprehended in the United Arab Emirates but in a different country where they had fled and were subsequently deported back to the UAE. Reports indicate that they originally fled to Turkey.
The UAE will determine and investigate who they worked for before proceeding with their probable execution.
In a Statement from Ambassador of the UAE to the US, Al Otaiba said “Today the UAE mourns for Rabbi Zvi Kogan. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and community over his senseless death.”
“Zvi Kogan’s murder was more than a crime in the UAE – it was a crime against the UAE. It was an attack on our homeland, on our values and on our vision.”
“In the UAE, we welcome everyone. We embrace peaceful coexistence. We reject extremism and fanaticism of every kind. We honor Zvi Kogan’s memory by recommitting ourselves to these values.”
