On Wednesday, the first day of Chol Hamoed, Rabbi Yossi and Rivky Labkowski arranged a beautiful CTeen “sushi in the hut” gathering for local Jewish teens, to gather together and learn about Sukkot and its message for us today.

Participating in this special Cteen Sukkos gathering event was a special group of Yeshiva students which the Labkowskis flew down from New York to assist the community with various hurricane relief efforts after many people experienced severe damages to their homes.

The students had an opportunity to shake the Lulav and Esrog and learn all about the special meaning of Sukkos. Later a professional sushi chef gave the Teens essential skills on how to craft delicious sushi. The Teens then went on to prepping all this needed ingredients and started making their very own unique sushi rolls.

The Teens also got a chance to play many exciting games and enjoyed a beautiful evening at Chabad.
