Rabbonim, shluchim, mashpi’im, locals and guests gathered as a new Torah, dedicated in memory of Rabbi Leibel Groner, the Rebbe‘s devoted mazkir for over 40 years, was paraded on Crown Heights streets with music and dancing.
The Siyum began in Baumgarten Shul, where the Torah’s final letters were written. Following the completion, the Torah was carried outside, where a chuppa was waiting to escort the new Torah on its first journey.
Hundreds then danced with the Torah on the streets of Crown Heights towards 770, where joyous hakafos were held outdoors.
