Elderly Crown Heights Resident Scammed Out Of $10,000

Be on high alert and protect your elderly relatives who are vulnerable to this new despicable scam where con artists claim to need funds to bail victim’s relatives from jail.

A new scam has targeted elderly residents to pressure them into transferring large sums of money to help save their alleged relatives.

Scammers have called a Crown Heights resident and told him that his daughter got into legal issues and they needed $16,000 to bail her out. Please be aware of these scams and warn your elderly and vulnerable relatives to be careful.
