A grand unity bonfire for the entire Crown Heights community will be held on Motzei Shabbos, Lag B’Omer, at George Wingate High School on Kingston Avenue.
A grand unity bonfire for the entire Crown Heights community will be held on Motzei Shabbos, the eve of Lag B’Omer, the hilula of the Rashbi.
Men, women and children are invited to the bonfire, which will take place at George Wingate High School on Kingston Avenue (between Rutland and Winthrop). There will be separate areas for men and women.
The program will begin at 10:00 PM with the hadlaka program.
Bidding will be held for the lighting of the bonfire, and the program will feature the lighting of the giant bonfire and live music and dancing. Refreshments will be served.
The bonfire is held in memory of Saadia Shmuel a”h Liberow.
