At Kollel Sharei Geulah in Kiryat Gat, twenty Lubavitcher yungerleit spend their days immersed in Torah study, preparing to take on leadership roles in communities throughout Israel.
The ‘Merkaz Chabad – Sharei Geulah’ Kollel in Kiryat Gat, headed by Harav Meir Meiri, has approximately 20 Lubavitcher yungerleit, who are spending the year following their marriage immersed in Torah study.
The yungerleit dedicate years of learning all four sections of Shulchan Aruch, receive training in practical Halacha and Horaah including, family purity, mikvaos, eruvin, and choshen mishpat.
Most students are preparing to take Israel’s most rigorous examinations administered by “Heichal Shlomo” and become respected halachic authorities and leaders in communities of Shluchim and anash around the world.
