Bochurim from the Chovevei Torah Mesivta celebrated with a grand siyum after concluding a perek of Gemara in-depth and taking a test on the material they mastered.
The celebration was to mark the conclusion of Perek Haboneh, the 12th perek in Maseches Shabbos, in-depth.
In addition to studying over ten blat Gemara legirsa, the bochurim of Shiur Beis and shiur gimmel finished the perek together with Rashi and Tosfos. Many of the bochurim also studied the commentaries of the Rishonim on the Gemara inside, in addition to hearing insights from the works of the Acharonim during shiurim.
After concluding the entire perek, the climax was a grand test in Zal, taken by all the bochurim. The test was followed by a siyum celebration in the yeshiva lunchroom. The bochurim were addressed by members of the hanhala, and several talmidim shared a vort on the perek with their friends.
