Hundreds of Anash and Bochurim gathered in 770 Sunday night for a farbrengen celebrating 81 years since the arrival of the Rebbe and Rebbetzin to the shores of the United States, escaping the horrors of war-torn Europe and settling in “the lower hemisphere – chatzi kadur hatachton”.
The farbrengen was addressed by Harav Yosef Yeshaya Braun, member of Crown Heights Beis Din, Rabbi Mendy Cohen, shliach to Sacramento, CA, Rabbi Kalman Weinfeld, rov of Beis Eliezer Yitzchok, and Reb Berel Junik. The MC was Rabbi Sholom Schapiro.
