The term “Chinuch Al Taharas Hakodesh” is often used today to identify the gold standard of chassidishe education.
Yet, there is much confusion about its meaning and practical application. In fact, different people and mosdos will use it to mean totally different – and even contradictory – things. What indeed is the Rebbe’s vision for “Chinuch Al Taharas Hakodesh”?
- Should children be taught to read and write their spoken language?
- Should we teach about the world around us in connection with the parsha?
- What are the Chabad standards for media that we show our children?
These questions and more will be addressed at a groundbreaking webinar called “Al Taharas HaKodesh: Demystifying the Ideal, Apply it in Practice,” presented by Rabbi Shimon Hellinger, director of Merkaz Anash and noted mechanech.
The webinar, organized by Anash Chinuch, will take place this Wednesday, 15 Teves, Dec 30, at 8:30 PM.
