The wider Chabad community of Chicago gathered for an evening of chizuk and inspiration on Thursday night to mark Chof Av, the yahrzeit Harav Levi Yitzchok Schneerson, father of the Rebbe.
The evening, held in memory of Hershel Weinberger a”h, who tragically was killed in a car accident this past month, was organized by Rabbi Baruch Hertz, rov of the Chabad community in Chicago.
Addressing the gathering was renowned lecturer and mashpia Rabbi Yossi Paltiel of Crown Heights. Hundreds of Chicago residents gathered to hear his words of inspiration, followed by a farbrengen after the official program concluded.
