Chicago Anash Gathers for Annual Kinus Torah

On Tuesday of Chol Hamoed Pesach, anash of Chicago gathered in the B’nei Ruven shul for a Kinus Torah, where rabbonim, chavrei kollel and bochurim spoke about various topics related to Pesach.

On Tuesday, the second day of Chol Hamoed Pesach, anash of Chicago gathered in the B’nei Ruven shul for a Kinus Torah.

The annual Kinus, arranged by Lubavitch Chabad of Illinois, brought together a wide range of speakers including rabbonim, chavrei kollel and bochurim who shared words of Torah on various topics related to Pesach.

The Kinus Torah continues a nearly 60-year tradition, started originally by Rabbi Zelig Gottleib a”h and led for many years by Rabbi Daniel Moscowitz a”h.

Rabbi Meir Moscowitz shared an idea from Likutei Levi Yitzchak about kitniyos on Pesach.

Rabbi Hertz, Rov Anash, Bnei Ruven Shul spoke about finding chometz on Pesach.

Rabbi Yisroel Labkowsky, Rosh Yeshiva 770, discussed the topic of a baal koreh being yotze Birchas haTorah.

Rabbi Moshe E. Markowitz, assistant Rabbi of Bnei Ruven, spoke about eating matzah the rest of Pesach.

Rabbi Sholom Ber Notik, Shliach to Riverwoods, IL, discussed the Alter Rebbe regarding eidus sheker with a Talis.

Rabbi Dov Yehuda Steinmetz of Kollel Tiferes Shimshon, explained the geder of ‘kol hamarbeh l’saper b’yitziyas mitzrayim‘.

Rabbi Yehoshua Resin, Kollel LHaraoh Maasis, addressed the topic of soap and lotions on Pesach.

Hatomim Mendel Zirkind, Mesivta, discussed using a sefer in a karmelis on Shabbos.
