This past Monday the boys division of Cheder Menachem of Kingston traveled to the Rebbe in honor of Yud Shevat. They started with a visit to the Ohel and then continued on to 770 and the Rebbe’s library.

It was a very inspiring 12 hours with a beautiful chassidish atmosphere. The boys started off the day with Davening, then embarked on a journey to the Ohel which took over 3 hours. Following that, they visited the Rebbe’s library, and davened Mincha in 770. It was beautiful to see how the talmidim understood the awesomeness of the Ohel and behaved accordingly.

The boys were treated to delicious pizza for supper prior to leaving Crown Heights.

This meaningful experience helped the boys feel more mekushar to the Rebbe, and it was most befitting following all the Hachanos that they did leading up to this auspicious day.

“B”H the hachonos leading up to Yud Shevat and culminating with the trip to the Ohel and 770 were a great success,” says Rabbi Yoel Chazan, Principal of Cheder Menachem. “We are now looking ahead to our next big project and planning a gift to the Rebbe in honor of Yud Alef Nissan.”
