As the Chabad community of Baltimore continues to grow, the community Cheder has seen its biggest-ever growth spurt in its history, prompting plans to expand with more scholarships and educational programs.
Over the past decade, Cheder Chabad of Baltimore has gained a stellar reputation for its warm, nurturing preschool and growing, Cheder-style elementary school. Cheder Chabad now hosts over 350 students in the historic Beth Jacob synagogue campus. Cheder includes a vibrant preschool, boys and girls elementary through 8th grade. The school caters to the students of the Jewish community across Maryland, DC, Northern Virginia and southern Pennsylvania.
The past year has primed the Cheder Chabad family for the greatest growth spurt they’ve seen yet. The post-Covid reality has given rise to tremendous innovation amongst their programming and new initiatives from within the faculty all around. As a community, they have zeroed in on the call of the hour and planted seeds of growth within the school, addressing the needs of the student body today so that they can GROW and thrive into the future.
