Chabad of Melbourne Holds Grand Sukkah Festival in the City

The Chabad of Melbourne CBD held their yearly Sukkah Festival in a large sukkah In the City.

As their yearly custom, Chbad of Melbourne had a large sukkah festival at a public sukkah in the City.

They hosted a beautiful catered luncheon on the grounds of Gordon Reserve in the City. There were political speakers who joined the event. Some of the honored guests were a group of political speakers, including Leader of the Opposition, David Southwick MP Caulfield, Colin Brooks MP Minister of Cultural Affairs, and Nicholas Reece, Deputy Lord Mayor.

The Chabad of Melbourne CBD Sukkah was open all week for guests to walk in and bentch lulav and esrog and make a bracha. The Yavneh College students attended in large numbers to bench Lulav and Esrog and enjoyed lunch and the feel of grass under their feet.

Each day brought a continuous crowd to the Sukkah to and bless Lulav and Esrog. Rabbi Chaim Herzog, the Shliach and Director of Chabad of Melbourne CBD welcomed all the guests and thanked them for coming.
