Celebrating 50 Years of Mitzvah Tanks: Join the Grand Parade

As the clock strikes 10:30 am on Thursday, 10 Nissan, 74 Mitzvah Tanks will roll out in honor of the 74 years of the Rebbe’s nesius, and marking 50 years since the start of Mitzvah Tanks in 1974.

This year, on Thursday, April 18th, New York streets will witness a historic spectacle: the 50th Mitzvah Tank Parade, marking a half-century since its inception in 1974. As the clock strikes 10:30 am, 74 Mitzvah Tanks will roll out in honor of the 74 years of the Rebbe’s nesius.

Mitzvah Tanks, a cornerstone of mivtzoim, began in the wake of the Yom Kippur War as a way to spread the light of mitzvos. Amidst the current challenges in Eretz Yisroel, this year’s parade holds added significance.

To support this monumental event, a campaign has been launched with a goal to raise $180,000. Community members worldwide are encouraged to contribute to this noble cause by visiting TankParade.com. Every donation helps extend the reach and impact of the Mitzvah Tanks, bringing the Rebbe’s message to people across New York and beyond.

Organized under the auspices of the Lubavitch Youth Organization, the Mitzvah Tank Parade exemplifies the Rebbe’s vision of using innovative means to spread Judaism and encourage the performance of mitzvos.

As we celebrate 50 years of this pioneering initiative, let us come together to support and participate in a parade that stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of Chabad’s outreach.

Join us in honoring the Rebbe by contributing to the success of the Mitzvah Tank Parade.
