As the Brunoy Yeshiva takes a 10-day break, some bochurim are spending their time as counselors in summer camps. However, 20 dedicated bochurim chose to use their break for a unique mission. They took the initiative to assist the shluchim across Europe with a special goal: to place tefillin on 770 people.
This mission is dedicated to the speedy recovery of Rabbi Shloimy Greenwald, Yosef Shlomo Ben Risha, a dear friend and alumni of the yeshiva who has continuously supported their efforts.
The bochurim traveled to various shluchim locations, including Budapest, Prague, Rhodes, Venice, Rome, Valencia, Denmark, Spain, Vienna, Lugano, and London. Now halfway through their journey, they have successfully donned tefilin with 385 people, including 40 who had never put on tefilin before – “karkafta dloi maniach Tefilin.”
Special thanks go to the incredible shluchim who welcomed them and supported this noble cause.
We call upon everyone to join in prayer for the swift recovery of Rabbi Shloimy Greenwald – Yosef Shlomo Ben Risha.
