In a stunning development, Israel’s Channel 12 is reporting that the leaders of both Degel Hatorah and Agudas Yisrael (which jointly make up the Gimmel Party), may consider joining a government with Yair Lapid.

The report states that Degel Hatorah leader MK Gafne is meeting with Hagaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky tonight to discuss the issues, and seek his guidance on “removing the veto on Lapid”.

Additionally, the News 12 report says that, MK Litzman, the leader of the Agudah Party is going to be consulting with the Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah of Agudas Yisroel (Admorim).

There was no confirmation from either Gafne or Litzman if this is true.
