Nearly 300 Yidden of all stripes gathered at Heichal Menachem in Boro Park to mark the Alter Rebbe‘s yahrzeit on Chof Daled Teves with an uplifting farbrengen.
The evening began with a celebratory seuda in honor of the yahrzeit with words of inspiration by Rabbi Leibel Altein, director of Heichal Menachem.
The seuda was followed with a joyous farbrengen led by Rabbi Nosson Gurary, the longtime shliach to Buffalo, New York, and currently a mashpia in Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim of Nyack, New York.
In an adjoining room, hundreds of Sifrei Chassidus were purchased at a steeply discounted price. Farbrengen goes also had the unique opportunity to purchase a USB with all available shiurim in the Alter Rebbe’s Chassidus.
A new weekly publication named ‘Siach Chassidim’ was distributed as a memento from the farbrengen. The booklet contains a collection of short ideas on the Parsha culled from the teachings of the early Chasidic masters, along with uplifting stories of tzaddikim.
