Bochur’s Family Seeks Help After Critical Accident

The family of 16-year-old Bochur who is in critical condition after being hit by a speeding driver is asking the public to come forward with information.

The family of 16-year-old Bochur who is in critical condition after being hit by a speeding driver is asking the public to come forward with information.

As previously reported on Anash.org, the young bochur was crossing Eastern Parkway near Albany Avenue late Thursday night when he was struck by a car that ran through a red light.

The victim was thrown in the air from the force of impact, and he was left unconscious on the street. He was transported to Kings County Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

Bystanders who witnessed the accident said that the driver accelerated as he approached the intersection on Albany Avenue and sped right past the red light.

Police who arrived at the scene allowed the speeding driver to leave after brief questioning without issuing a summons.
