Bochurim to Gather for Grand Seudas Shabbos and Farbrengen

Bochurim studying in the yeshivos of 770 and Oholei Torah will join together Friday night for a joint seudas Shabbos and farbrengen to mark Chof Ches Sivan.

Bochurim from Crown Heights yeshivos will join together for a grand seudas Shabbos and farbrengen to mark Chof Ches Sivan.

Chof Ches Sivan is the day the Rebbe and Rebbetzin arrived the shores of the United States, escaping the horrors of war-torn Europe and settling in “the lower hemisphere – chatzi kadur hatachton”.

Chassidim mark the day each year with farbrengens. This year, Chof Ches Sivan falls out on Shabbos, and farbrengens will be held in shuls and yeshivos around the world.

The bochurim learning in the Central Tomchei Tmimim in 770 will join together with the bochurim of Oholei Torah Zal on Friday night for a Hakhel seudas Shabbos, followed by a farbrengen.

Leading the meal and farbrengen will be the mashpi’im of 770 and Oholei Torah along with guest speakers Harav Yosef Yeshaya Braun of the Crown Heights Beis Din, West Coast Head Shliach Rabbi Shlomo Cunin, and Rabbi Moshe Silman, menahel of Oholei Torah Mesivta.

The seudas Shabbos and farbrengen will take place in 770 Eastern Parkway.
