13 Bochurim of Yeshivas Beis Dovid Shlomo New Haven, Shiur Beis Zal took a flight for a Shabbos in Myrtle Beach, SC after completing a Mivtza for the Rebbe’s birthday gift. 90 Days straight of Chitas, without missing a day!
Bochurim shared stories of different challenging nights where they remembered while almost already sleeping, that they didn’t do their chitas that day yet, and stayed strong in their commitment and got out of bed, or making sure to bring a chayeinu with them even when they went traveling!
Rabbi Menachem Cadaner, their Chassidus Erev teacher, who threw this Chitas challenge to his bochurim, kept the boys in suspense till the moment they arrived at the airport, as to where they’ll be flying. They arrived to a packed itinerary which included water sports, farbrengen and a lot more!
Surely, this gives the Rebbe much nachas, and may it be an inspiration for others to follow their lead!
