A unique fathers and sons event, inspired by the Kinus Hashluchim, was held on Sunday at the Lubavitch Yeshiva in Cergy, France. After learning together, they gathered for a banquet that emphasized the unique role of temimim as “shluchim” and the importance of positive resolutions to fulfill their mission.
This past Sunday (7 Kislev), a special Avos U’Banim learning session took place, where fathers and sons studied a sicha from the Rebbe on the mission of shlichus.
Following the learning session, the yeshiva hosted a Kinus Hashluchim banquet, organized by the talmidim hashluchim. The event emphasized the unique role of the temimim as the Rebbe’s shluchim and the importance of making positive resolutions to fulfill this mission.
Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Davidovitch, the Rosh Yeshiva, spoke about the principle of “Shlucho shel adam kemoso” (a Shliach represents the one who sends him), and Rabbi Shmuel Lubecki shared insights on the Rebbe’s deep care for every Jew.
The program ended with a roll call and a spirited group photo of the temimim, parents, and staff. The celebration concluded with lively singing and dancing, leaving participants uplifted and inspired.
