The 53th birthday of Rabbi Akiva Wagner, Rosh Yeshiva of Toronto Yeshiva, was celebrated on Wednesday by his students.

The bochurim celebrated with a festive banner and by presenting their beloved Rosh Yeshiva with a birthday cake and bottle of mashke.

The Rosh Yeshiva himself, however, marked his birthday modestly, choosing to chazer a ma’amar after Mincha in Yeshiva, as per the Rebbe’s instructions for a birthday.
