The Chabad shuls of Baltimore united for a grand Yud Shevat farbrengen at the Baltimore Yeshiva’s recently build ‘770’ replica, marking the first community event in the newly-built campus.
In Baltimore, over 200 men and boys gathered for a grand Yud Shevat farbrengen marking the auspicious day of Yud Shevat, yom hilula of the Frierdiker Rebbe and the day the Rebbe accepted the nesius.
The event was jointly sponsored by the Chabad shuls and Mosdos and hosted at the Yeshivas Lubavitch of Baltimore’s recently build ‘770’ replica, marking the first community event in the newly-built campus.
Speaking at the event were Maryland Head Shliach Rabbi Shmuel Kaplan, Rabbi Avrohom Wolowik, Shliach and Rav of Chabad in Greengate and COO of Cheder Chabad, Rabbi Shmuel Raices, Shliach to Chabad Park Heights and Rabbi Shmuel Gurary, Shliach and Rav of Chabad Israeli Center of Baltimore.
The farbrengen featured guest speaker Rabbi Yossel Katzman of Crown Heights, director of ‘A Cable for Jewish Life,’ which continued for many long hours into the night.
