Members of the Chabad community of Baltimore gathered four times to prepare for Pesach by learning about the Yom Tov, as the Shulchan Aruch writes that every person should do.
Before every Yom Tov, members of the community arrange shiurim and learning sessions on the topics related to the particular Yom Tov. With Pesach approaching, shiurim were once again organized.
Held at the Ohel Levi Yitzchok Shul, the learning focused on topics related to the Yom Tov of Pesach in Halacha and Chassidus, to help prepare and get into the proper spirit for the Yom Tov.
Delivering shiurim were Rabbi Elchonon Lisbon, Rav of Ohel Levi Yitzchok Shul, who discussed the halachos of kashering keilim and the Chassidic perspective on the names of Pesach, Rabbi Nochum Levin, Rav of Tzeirei Anash Shul who explored the ka’arah in Halacha, Rabbi Moshe Slavaticki, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Lubavitch Baltimore, who spoke about the proper shiurim for matzah and maror; and Rabbi Levi Greenbaum, Mashpia in Yeshivas Lubavitch Baltimore, who gave a shiur of the avodah perspective of Pesach.
The shiurim were organized by Rabbi Yechiel Schanowitz, Rabbi Levi Raichik and Rabbi Zalman Spitezki. Many thanks to Rabbi Moshe Slavaticki for all his help and for all the generous sponsors.
